I'm Joe, or joebu (or Joseph, if you're my grandparents or a bank). My pronouns are he/they.

I'm a creative dabbler, particularly interested in angels, the internet, identity, and most recently, digital collage.

I live in London with my wife and a cat called Phil Collins.

about this site

I wanted somewhere to "drop" creative projects so that I actually finish them.
I didn't really wanna make all my creative projects social-media friendly cause a.) social media is kind of awful now and b.) that's literally my day job.
And it's been long enough since my Computer Science degree and brief coding career that I thought I would enjoy making a website again.

So here we are, welcome to joebu.online I guess.

25/02/2024	I've finished it's not an easy puzzle! A three page collage/poetry piece about non-binary gender made from a Puzzler magazine.
03/11/2023	I've just received the physical copies of An Incomplete Guide to Uninvited Guests so that page is live now, as well as a Gumroad shop where you can get one. Which is all pretty exciting. This is also the first time I've put How To Make Friends Online, my previous zine-ish project, anywhere that people can see, so have at it.
